TriEnda and Penda came together to create an emergency bed solution to prepare for shortages related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The low-cost Emergency & Disaster Relief Bed boasts a durable design that can be easily assembled on-site without tools. Once assembled, the beds are easy to clean and thanks to their nesting design, they are easy to store when they are not needed for an urgent situation.
In the weeks ahead, Penda will be transforming a large automotive facility near Madison, WI into a place where the Emergency & Disaster Relief Beds can be mass-produced. Ultimately, the collaborators are aiming to produce over 3,000 units per day in the next few weeks.
